As the summer comes to a close in the northern hemisphere, we hope you’re taking advantage of the remaining warm days and spending plenty of time outside with your loved ones.
This month’s book, “A Day with Dad”, takes us on a nature walk with Papa Bear and his daughter. While nature is beautiful, there are a few bumps and bruises along the way. Papa Bear is prepared, though, and these minor setbacks provide a great bonding experience and lesson in empathy for Baby Girl Bear!
Our Dad product this month, a skin repair spray from California-based Bldg Active, is a great salve for any bumps and bruises (insect bites, cuts, scrapes, sunburn) you might encounter in your ventures to the Great Outdoors! It is also child-safe, so can be used for your baby and child, too!
And, depending on your baby’s age, we have a variety of bear-themed products for your child this month! Dads with babies under 1 will receive a stuffed animal bear rattle from sigikid, and dads of babies 1 and up will receive a bear bento box (or bear water bottle, for those of you who are long-time Deluxe box subscribers and received a bento box in our April 2019 box 😉). Deluxe box customers will also receive either a simple set of bear-and-animal puzzles (babies 1 and up), or a bear clutching toy from Haba (babies under 1 year old).
